The Master Program of Sport Facility and Health Promotion at the National Taiwan University invites applications for a faculty position (open rank) in the areas of Exercise and Sports Psychology, Human Biomechanics, Sports Medicine, or Exercise and Health-related disciplines, with employment beginning from 1st August 2024. All applicants should have a Ph.D. degree from related research fields and post-doc training or industrial-related experience. Primary teaching assignments will include research methods for exercise science and courses related to clinical exercise psychology or biomechanics by EMI. Successful candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and interdisciplinary research profile and have a good command of English.
The application package should include a cover letter (indicating the rank being applied for and a representative publication dated after 1st August 2019), curriculum vitae, autobiography, statements of research interests, statement of teaching philosophy and outlines of teaching assignment and interests, a copy of the Ph.D. diploma, electronic reprints of all publications after 1st August 2017, and two letters of recommendation. One recommendation letter should be from the applicant’s Ph.D. supervisor when applying for an assistant professorship. Transcripts of graduate studies are only required for applicants whose representative publication is a Ph.D. thesis.
